Action Shots

BIRTHDAY: 6/25/1985

HOMETOWN: Charleston, SC

FAVORITE WARM-UP TRICK (WAKE ONLY):
Either the Method or a good old Tail poke

FAVORITE NAUTIQUE ATHLETE TO RIDE/SKI WITH (AND WHY):
Shaun Murray - he was my hero growing up and still shreds harder now than ever before…He’s motivating, tells pretty good jokes (most of the time), and always makes you do a tumble turn…which reminds you of how rad wakeboarding really is. He also would probably let me bring my foil on his boat ; )

EVENT YOU LOOK FORWARD TO EVERY YEAR:
The Masters is always a blast to be a part of! I’ve driven the G23 for the pro mens the past few years which is always a great seat to have for the finals. All the nautique friends and family are there and it feels like one massive family camping trip, with a side of the worlds best wakeboarding and skiing.

HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF (WAKEBOARDING, WAKESURFING, WATERSKIING):
Foil Surfing is a new addiction of mine, as is repairing fences on the farm here in SC, and trying to keep up with my wife and kids who are a couple of eq

WHAT ARE YOUR ESSENTIALS FOR A DAY ON THE WATER:
Obviously boards and surfers, etc. - plus as many foils as we can fit in the racks for monster party wave sessions with 5-6 people. A fishing pole is also crucial, as is my corkcicle tumbler filled with H20 and a hose is also crucial to clean the boat up afterwards (I run a coastal edition in the salt water here in Charleston). Also depending on the season here in the low country… BUG SPRAY!

THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB:
Teaching someone something new and seeing the smile on their face or the joy they experience from doing something that we get to do everyday.

WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT THING YOU’VE EVER DONE:
Well there are lots of answers for that… most recently it felt like my taxes were the most difficult thing I’ve ever done which is why I waited till the last day.., then before that the pile of kids laundry that needed to be folded felt like the most difficult thing I have ever done. And now…trying to decide the top 3 songs to play in my nautique feels like the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, which is why I answered this question first.

TOP 3 SONGS TO PLAY IN YOUR NAUTIQUE:
These are ever changing, but here’s a few good vibes as of lately:

1. Long Train Runnin’ - the Doobie Brothers
2. Walkin on the Sun - Smashmouth (I prefer to have Murray on the boat for this one ;)
3. Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crew
