I am so excited to write this blog and announce that Ralph Meloon has been selected to receive our industry’s highest honor; induction into the Boating Industry Hall of Fame!

The Boating Industry Hall of Fame is a small and elite group of people who have had a significant positive impact on our industry. It is reserved for people who have consistently been impactful at the highest level over a long period and Ralph certainly meets that criteria. If anyone deserves to be inducted, it is Ralph Meloon!

Ralph has had a dramatic impact on our company for nine decades. Correct Craft started when Ralph was just seven years old and today he is 95. Ralph led our company through decades of innovation and service including traveling to over 80 countries to promote boating and Correct Craft.

Over the past nearly seven years I have seen people travel from all over the globe to spend a few minutes with Ralph Meloon. As I have traveled the world for Correct Craft the past few years I rarely go anywhere that someone does not ask me about Ralph. Whether in the US, Europe, Asia or Australia, people all over the world are always anxious to give me a gift to bring back to Ralph or share a Ralph story with me.

Ralph has had a dramatic impact on our industry, our company and thousands and thousands of individuals.

I have been blessed to have many wonderful men in my life who have been role models and influenced who I am. Though I have only known Ralph a few years he certainly is included in that group, and very high on the list. Ralph is the best kind of influencer, he speaks through his actions and models how to live and I respect that tremendously and appreciate the influence he has been on me and others at our company.

So, today we celebrate with Ralph! If you would like to congratulate Ralph send my assistant Kim Varnado a note to and she will be sure it gets passed on. I know he would be happy to hear from you!

Congratulations Ralph for all you have done, we love and appreciate you!
