NAUTIQUE IN MINNESOTA!
Fans line up at the Nautique booth!
Celebrating with Hayley Smith of Australia!
This past weekend the Nautique team gathered in Minnesota for a fun weekend attending a couple of very exciting events.
The Nautique WWA National Wakeboard Championships were held in Minneapolis and what an exciting event it was. Athletes traveled from around the world to ride behind the Nautique boats and have a chance to carry the National Champ crown for the next year!
This year’s venue for the Nautique Nationals was the Mississippi River. The river provided some extra challenges for the competitors. However, you have to be good to be a national champ so the riders adapted and the competition was incredible.
The atmosphere at the event was fun with Nautique rider “BT” (aka DJ Drop Top) spinning the tunes and announcers Nic and “Master of Mayhem” Dano providing outstanding commentary, as always. There was a constant stream of people in the Nautique booth looking at the new 2012 product and everyone seemed “wowed” by the Nautique product.
Also this weekend I had the honor of joining a lot of great skiers at the Midwest Regional Water Ski Tournament which was held in Minnesota, about an hour from the Nautique WWA National Wakeboard Championships. It was fun to watch the skiers perform behind the Ski Nautique 200 and I heard of at least two new records being set at the event behind the Ski Nautique. It was enjoyable to meet so many waterski enthusiasts and spend time at this fun event.
At Nautique we care about our industry and are thrilled to be able to support wonderful events like these two this past weekend in Minnesota.
