Nautique Cares - Happy Holidays!

Dec 18, 2014

In the United States, where Nautique is based, this is a really busy time of year. At the end of November we celebrate Thanksgiving and soon after that we celebrate Christmas and the New Year. This time is important to us because it allows us to spend more time with our families and helps us to focus on being thankful for our blessings, our faith and the importance of staying fresh with new beginnings. We love the holidays!

As we look back on 2013 we are very thankful. The boat market is still less than 50% of where it was five years ago, but we are thriving. Our new boats have been very well received and our efforts to develop the Nautique brand around the globe are paying off in a big way.

Our work has been recognized by both our industry and customers. We have won almost all of our industry’s awards including Boat of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Buzz Brand of the Year and, as we do every year, our industry’s Customer Satisfaction Award. While we certainly enjoy this recognition, the most satisfaction comes from the many happy customers we hear from nearly every day. That is the best recognition!

We are also thankful to be part of a company that is trying to do more than just sell boats. We want our boats to help keep families together and give friends a way to spend more time together. We also want to use our resources to make the world a better place; Nautique Cares.

Early next year you will be hearing about a significant new initiative we will be kicking off related to our Nautique Cares program. We will be working to help alleviate suffering like few people know; the suffering of human trafficking in India which combines extreme poverty with misery of another kind few of us can imagine. Several of our team saw this suffering first hand a couple months ago in India and we are determined to try and help. This new initiative has nothing to do with selling boats; it has everything to do with helping people who really need the help. Next month when you read about this initiative I truly hope you will join us in the fight; there are people who need our help.

So, I hope you look back on 2013 with fondness but even more important I hope you look toward 2014 with optimism. We are excited about the New Year. The Nautique team will be all over the world and we hope to see you at one of our many events!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
