Team Nautique rider Danny Harf traveled to Northern Minnesota this past weekend for the second annual Minnesota Spring Ride and Red Bull On The Line contest.
This was the first time anyone in Minnesota had gotten to ride behind and see the Super Air Nautique G23 and the following this boat has created since its release just got bigger. Many personal first time best tricks went down in an event that put $6500 up for grabs to see the best trick off the wake and off the double up.
Standouts of the weekend were Nautique team athlete Danny Harf winning the double up contest with a huge blind Pete Rose off the double up and Marine Max local Nautique promo rider Colin Ryan who took second in best trick and first in biggest air with a grabbed heelside 720. Colin also won the wake to wake best trick contest with a huge wake to wake 900 during his first pass behind the G23.
With just three weeks back on the water since having knee surgery Danny Harf blew minds all weekend with some amazing riding that amped the crowd and inspired every competitor to put it all on the line.
“The MN Spring Ride is a family and friends event, where both local and professional riders come to showcase their skills and compete for some cold hard cash. I can’t thank Nautique enough for sending us up the all-new G23. The boat is truly amazing. There was lots of excitement from everyone when we announced that the G23 would be making its Minnesota debut at the event, and the boat did not disappoint. Lots of great riding went down, and the competitors really stepped up their game, landing tricks they had never done before. I’m already excited for next year, as we have some big things brewing!” – Event Director Jay Fogelson
