Shawn Watson visits the Middle East.
Team Nautique rider Shawn Watson just returned from a trip with Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin and Nautique’s Director of International Sales Dan Guthrie to the Middle East. During their trip they visited Israel, Qatar, and Kuwait meeting with Nautique dealers and wakeboarding enthusiasts, giving demo rides and lessons behind the Super Air Nautique 230.
First arriving in Israel, they attended a two-day VIP beach event in Tel-Aviv on the Sea of Galilee with our local Nautique dealer Stream Yachts. Shawn hung out all day on the boat giving lessons and demos. The local press came out as well to do some interviews and film Shawn as he brought his smooth style to one of the most historically important bodies of water in the world.
The next day they arrived in Eilat where Shawn put on demos in the Red Sea, which borders Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. They met with the Minister of sport in Eilat who is working to bring future wake events to the country and checked out a beautiful resort that is setting up a wakeboard school with a brand new 230.

The following day they went to Kuwait and spent another day on the water sharing our sport, signing autographs, and giving demo rides with Nautique dealer “Balance”. Everyone had an amazing time and we are excited to be a part of wakeboarding’s growth in the Middle East!
