Team Nautique rider Bob Soven took second place behind the Super Air Nautique 230 in a hard fought battle in Collingwood Harbor on Lake Huron in Ontario, CA. Always a showman, Bob weathered the storm in less than ideal conditions putting on one of the most exciting runs of the event.
“ I fought the elements and walked away very happy with my run. One less roller from the yachts coming through the harbor and I would have had the win! I always look forward to this event, and even more so now that it’s behind the Super Air Nautique 230. I had a good time watching all of the bands that played and getting to ride and hang out with everyone in Canada. Walking away with great memories, and a few scrapes and bruises from an insane downhill Mountain bike ride at Blue Mountain, I can’t wait until next year!” said Bob.
Team Nautique’s youngest rider Paulie Koch made the 11 hour drive from his Connecticut home putting up a run in the quarter finals that made him a fan favorite before getting edged out in the semi’s. He spent the rest of the contest hyping up the crowd on the mic as some of the biggest names in music played on stage along with skate demos and a Freestyle Motocross exhibition.
