The 50th Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament was held this past weekend at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia and it proved to be an exciting one. Every athlete’s true grit was put to the test as they had to perform in the wind and rain at the most prestigious event in the world. Team Nautique had outstanding performances bringing home two event titles and three podium finishes in three different events.
Taking home the women’s trick title was Whitney McClintock of Team Nautique with a score of 8250. Whitney also placed third in slalom getting 1.5 buoys at 38ft off.
Chris Parrish showed us the true professional that he is and opted to keep the show rolling, skiing through some of the hardest rain of the weekend. Weathering the storm and charging through, Chris placed 2nd in the finals with 3.5 buoys at 39ft off.
The Men’s Jump division competitors received some bad weather as well; it was postponed twice during the semis. When the skies parted Jaret Llewellyn received third place with a jump of 223ft.
The biggest buzz of the weekend was around Nautique skier K.C. Wilson who tied the junior masters course record with his semi finals run of 2 buoys at 39ft off and then made 4 buoys at 38ft off in the finals to clinch the title. K.C. also was awarded a $500 scholarship and the Kristi Overton Johnson Sportsman award from In His Wakes Ministries Congratulations K.C.!

Way to go Clem!
Nautique’s very own Brandon Thomas took third at Toe Jam Stop # 2 last weekend at The Projects. Congratulations BT!
The next event on the Toe Jam Series will be the Wake Jam in our very own backyard on one of the private Nautique lakes on June 5-6. We hope to see you there!
