Not many people have the opportunity to go behind the scenes with pro athletes, but here at Nautique we do. We’ve spent a day in the life of J.D. Webb, Rail Master of the Year for 2008, so we hope you enjoy.
Last month a few of the guys from the team headed up to Toronto Canada for the Amsterdam Rail Jam. The firstweekend Jimmy LaRiche and Aaron Rathy were there followed by Keith Lidberg and Jeff McKee on the second. They were all in full wet suit gear doing it up for our Nautique dealer, Pride Marine Group, in Canada.
This is the largest indoor pool I’ve ever seen. The Nautique guys from Pride Marine Group know how to put on a show. They had a hockey arena filled with 40 degree water pumped right out of Lake Ontario. You know you’ve witnessed true love for the sport with you see wakeboarders hitting rails in freezing cold water. This didn’t stop Jimmy LaRiche from sticking a toeside 900 off of the kicker either and winning the “Best Trick” award.
