ORLANDO, FLA (August 12, 2013) – Today, Nautique employees had the honor of a special visit from Florida’s Governor Rick Scott to celebrate Nautique’s recent growth and job creation to the Central Florida community.
Governor Scott’s visit to the factory entailed a briefing on Nautique’s growth over the last year, recent job creation due to high demand, and other ways Nautique gives back to the Central Florida community. The Governor was able to speak with a recent new hire that relayed her gratitude to Nautique for giving her the opportunity to learn a new skill and trade. Governor Scott then toured the factory, greeting nearly every employee, and ended his visit with a joint address to Nautique employees and press conference on the production floor with Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin.
Additionally, Governor Scott presented Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin the “Governor’s Business Ambassador” award to recognize the work he and Nautique has done to develop business around the world and create jobs in Florida.
“Our Nautique team was honored today to have Florida Governor Rick Scott visit our World Headquarters in Central Florida and spend time with many of our employees. Besides updating Governor Scott on our boat and cable operations, I was also grateful for the opportunity to share some or the unique aspects of Nautique’s culture with the Governor including our unique drive for innovation and our Nautique Cares initiatives,” stated Correct Craft President and CEO Bill Yeargin. “Additionally, while I was honored to receive the Governor’s Ambassador Award, this award is really recognition of our incredible team and the great job they have done,” Yeargin added.
