Once a Nautique Customer, Always a Nautique Customer

Lee Schmidt is a husband, father of three and the owner and operator of the High Sierra Water Ski School in Lake Tahoe, CA. Schmidt is also a long-time Nautique enthusiast and uses Super Air Nautique and Ski Nautique models at his water ski school.

Schmidt’s love for Nautique started when he was a child, as he recalls going out on the lake with his dad in a Nautique. Schmidt has passed on his love for the Nautique brand to his three children: Jackson, age 11, Mason, age 9, and Devin, age 6. All three children regularly enjoy hanging out with their dad at work, canoeing and water skiing behind a Nautique.

In the winter months, Schmidt can be found coaching Aline Snow Ski racing at Squaw Valley USA in California. During his 21 years as a snow ski coach, 56 of his students have gone on to participate on the US Ski Team and 19 have competed in the Olympics.
