NAUTIQUE ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - 2012!

Aug 29, 2012

Bill with two of Asia's best athletes - “Jumping Jimmy” from Korea and Saaya Hirosawa from Japan

One of the many podiums at the Nautique Asian Championships

The past few days I have been honored to attend the Nautique Asian Championships in Chuncheon, Korea which this year also included the best athletes from Australia and Oceana.

Paul Fong from IWWF and many others from the KWWA and other organizations did a great job putting on an amazing event. Our Nautique boats flawlessly pulled both the water ski and wakeboard events and many people told me how much they enjoyed having the world’s best tow boats at this prestigious event.

While in Korea I had the opportunity to meet with many people including athletes, association representatives from both IWWF and the AAOcountries, industry representatives from Korea as well as other parts of the world and many Nautique dealers who were in attendance. There was a lot of excitement regarding what is happening in that part of the world in both waterskiing and wakeboarding and they are very thankful for Nautique’s support of what they are trying to build.

All the athletes performed well but special congratulations to sisters Phillipa and Aaliyah Yoong from Malaysia, Saaya Hirosawa from Japan, Jimin (Jumping Jimmy) Jeong from Korea, and Silvio Chiha from Lebanon on their gold medal performances!

Nautique supports events all over the world and this past week’s event is one of the best. Our team is very proud to be working together with some incredibly dedicated people from the AAO countries to support our sports and build a great future for them.

We not only want to build the world’s best boats but also do our best to support our industry around the world.

The world’s best ski boat; the world’s best wake boat; and a company that cares.

Enjoy the Nautique life!
