Last Friday night Nautique and Orlando Watersports Center (OWC) fans joined together for the “Unveiling” of the all-new one-of-a-kind Nautique slider.
As the new Nautique slider was unveiled the crowd was thrilled to see Team Nautique riders Danny Harf, Shaun Murray, JD Webb, Jimmy LaRiche and Shawn Watson hit it under the lights. The team was riding the cable and the crowd enjoyed watching the best wakeboarders in the world enjoying their time on the water.
While Red Bull was providing drinks to the crowd, announcing the event was Team Nautique rider Jeff McKee and spinning was Team Nautique wakeskater “BT” (a/k/a DJ DropTop). Jeff and “Joe Mama” from Nautiques of Orlando also came by with a couple of boats so the crowd could check out the new 2010 Super Air Nautique 230 and the Byerly Icon Edition 210. In fact, Scott Byerly himself also showed up.
All around it was a great night and the crowd seemed to really enjoy the festivities.
Nautique is proud of our long-standing relationship with OWC and we are happy that our OWC relationship is stronger than ever. OWC uses Nautique boats exclusively in their ski and wakeboard school and people come literally from all over the world to get pulled behind one of the OWC Nautique boats.
On your next trip to Orlando stop by OWC and check out the new Nautique slider – it is worth coming by. And while you are in town, plan to come by our Nautique factory and take a tour. (If you cannot stop by for a personal tour, check out Shaun Murray’s video tour of our plant.)
It is still winter but spring is around the corner so plan to visit your local Nautique dealer soon and find the perfect boat for your summer fun. We will all be back on the water soon and I suspect you, like me, cannot wait!
Enjoy the Nautique life!
