| TEAM NAUTIQUE SKIERS DOMINATE THE 2009 MOOMBA MASTERS | 03/12/09 |
Team Nautique athletes took three first place victories at the 2009 Moomba Masters in Melbourne, Australia this past weekend with Chris Parrish winning the Men’s Slalom title, Jaret Llewellyn taking the Men’s Jump title and Clementine Lucine winning the Women’s Tricks title.
Despite tough conditions, world record holder Chris Parrish emerged victorious with a score of 1.5@39-off (10.75m) to garner his second consecutive Moomba title, equaling three career titles for Parrish at the Moomba Masters alone. Jaret Llewellyn soared above the competition in the Men’s Jump event with a 66.6m jump in the Semi Finals round and a 68.1 jump in the Finals round; Llewellyn also claimed second place in Men’s Trick as well as first place in Sunday’s Night Jump event. Additionally, Clementine Lucine took top honors in Women’s Trick with a final score of 7890 and a third place win in Women’s Jump.
“The entire Nautique team is extremely proud of our athletes’ performances at the 2009 Moomba Masters,” stated Correct Craft President/CEO, Bill Yeargin. “This confirms yet again that Nautique athletes are the best in the industry,” added Yeargin.
