| TEAM NAUTIQUE ATHLETES MAKE BIG WAVES AT THE FINAL PRO WAKEBOARD TOUR STOP | 07/14/08 |
Team Nautique athletes dominated the final Pro Wakeboard Tour (PWT) stop in Reno yesterday with Emily Copeland Durham winning the Pro Women’s division, Jimmy LaRiche taking 1st place in Jr. Men’s, and J.D. Webb and Aaron Rathy coming in 2nd and 3rd , respectively, in Pro Men’s.
Two-time Wakeboard World Champion, Copeland Durham, was unbeatable yesterday as her stellar performance allowed her to defeat Nicola Butler, a Women’s contender who achieved top marks at every PWT stop preceding the final showdown in Reno.
LaRiche also surfaced as a champion in the final PWT stop with a score of 92.50, beating out both Harley Clifford and Ryan King. Yesterday’s win helped LaRiche claim his first overall title in PWT’s Jr. Men’s division as well as the Indmar Performance Award, a $1000 bonus.
“All of us on the Nautique team are extremely proud of our athletes’ performances yesterday at the final PWT stop,” stated Correct Craft’s President/CEO, Bill Yeargin. “This confirms yet again that Nautique athletes are the best in the industry,” added Yeargin.
