| CORRECT CRAFT CEO, BILL YEARGIN, ATTENDS WHITE HOUSE SIGNING OF FREE TRADE AGREEMENT | 10/21/11 |
ORLANDO, FLA (October 21, 2011) —Today the CEO of Correct Craft (builder of Nautique Boats), Bill Yeargin, joined President Barack Obama in the Oval Office for the signing of the Free Trade Agreements with Panama, Colombia, and Korea.
These Free Trade Agreements are expected to both increase jobs in the marine industry and generate 70,000 US jobs nationwide.
These Agreements, negotiated by the Bush Administration, had strong bipartisan support and were strongly supported by the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Upon signing of the Agreements tariffs on boats made in the USA were reduced.
“I was proud to represent our industry this morning in the Oval Office as President Obama signed these important Agreements,” stated Correct Craft CEO, Bill Yeargin. “These Agreements will provide US boat builders a fairer playing field as we demonstrate to the world that US quality in general and Nautique quality specifically is second to none!” Yeargin added.
